SEP has development experience in retail, industrial, office and residential. Because of demographic trends, it’s current concentration is in Multi-family and Industrial.

Mr. Linden has over two decades of direct experience in the construction industry. He has proven to be a leading expert in construction management, due to his hands-on experience in every facet of the industry. Mr. Linden pulls from an impressive background of successfully serving in roles, ranging from Field Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Estimator, Operations Manager, and President.

Currently, one of his roles is serving as the owner and President of Linden Construction of SC, Inc., one of the fastest growing construction companies in South Carolina. This company was founded by Mr. Linden, and his flourished under his guidance. The company’s operational success is a direct result of Mr. Linden’s knowledge, expertise, and involvement.

Throughout his career, Mr. Linden has successfully built, and managed, not only a commercial construction company, but has also repositioned countless other assets to increase their value. In addition, he has also taken various mis-managed developments that are over budget and made them financially viable. Due to Mr. Linden’s experience with various multifaceted operational projects, he can clearly direct design professionals, identify potential construction issues, create and manage detailed development budgets, oversee contract and scope negotiations with all parties, and forecast the full financial picture of each development project.

Mr. Linden has a thorough understanding of the financials involved in and surrounding each project and is well versed in building and properly managing the balance sheets and income statements of fully operational companies. He is fully competent and capable in managing cashflow(s) as well as operational lines of credit. Mr. Linden is also proficient in negotiating deal points on various financial products. All these skills help to ensure that each endeavor he undertakes is set for success.

Mr. Orton has extensive experience in multiple property classes, and a track record of developing highly desirable real estate assets. Most recently he was a Managing Director with Madison Capital Group where he developed +1,500 apartments and twelve climate-controlled storage facilities in the past five years.

Prior to Madison Capital Group, Mr. Orton served as the VP of Development for Bennett Hospitality where he oversaw the development of two large mixed-use developments, and several hotels in South Carolina and Montana. Preceding Bennett Hospitality, Mr. Orton spent over a decade at Biltmore Farms, in Asheville, NC where he oversaw the development of the Biltmore Lake, the Ramble, and Biltmore Park. Biltmore Park includes over a million square feet of multi-family, office, retail and hospitality uses.

Mr. Orton received his BS in International Business from Western Carolina University and his Masters in Real Estate Development from Auburn University. Mr. Orton graduated top of his class from Auburn and was a world finalist in M.I.T.’s annual development competition “The Case”. He is an active member of ULI and is a board member of numerous local charities.

Mr. Wilson is an established real estate developer and has owned and developed real estate throughout his entire professional career. He holds a Broker-in-Charge (BIC) license in South Carolina and is currently the head BIC over two companies.

Using the first house he purchased for $16,000, Mr. Wilson built his professional real estate career from the ground up. He’s since used the experience he’s earned through real estate business ownership, investments, and development to continually deliver results. As a principal business owner, he has successfully managed over 1000 occupants with over 8MM in investor distributions.

Mr. Wilson has over two decades of real estate experience with the development of various assets including multi-family, sfr, retail, office, and hospitality. His current real estate activities involve an aggregate value of over 150MM.

Over the years, his motto, “treat investor money like your own”, has earned him a reputation as a trustworthy fiduciary of investors’ capital. Mr. Wilson has a strong propensity for sourcing opportunities, as well as the financial acumen needed to deliver consistent investor returns.
